🎙️ NEW SML BUZZ PODCAST — 150,000 BAGS OF HOPE! ❤️🎒
This is one of those conversations that reminds you just how much GOOD is happening right here in our community.
I sat down with Lynda Imirie from Food for Kids, an organization helping make sure local children have food to take home for the weekends.
And wait until you hear some of these numbers…
🍎 More than 700 bags currently being packed each week
🎒 Food for Kids recently packed its 150,000th bag!
🙌 Volunteers packing and delivering food week after week
❤️ An incredible network of donors, churches, organizations and businesses making it possible
We also talk about Food for Kids' involvement with the 35th Annual Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour and take you inside the spectacular Peccararo home!
This episode is about SO much more than bags of food. It's about what happens when a community decides to take care of its kids. ❤️
